The bord came equipped with F4 bios, tried F6 and F6a, still no signal and been like this since i unpacked it.

Tried both dvi, hdmi and the displayport on the graphic-card(gc), the gc works in the pcie x8 and in the pcie x4 slot it even works an another motherboard in a pcie x16 slot. Tried to connect powercable to the pcie power connector, no result

Tried two other gc`s in the GA-Z77X-UD5H pcie x16 slot - gtx 580 and gts 250 - the both work fine.

Hi and welcome.

I have just checked the support section for this motherboard and it doesn't mention the IvyBridge CPU at all as far as BIOS support is concerned so I am not sure if all the versions support it.  So it's possibly an issue with the CPU not the GPU. Try contacting GGTS for advice on this element.

Also I am not sure if you have connected both the power cables but the graphics card does require both PCIE cables to be inserted to run properly. It must also be in the PCIEx16_1 slot and the BIOS directed to it as such.

Hey and tx for the reply!

Im not sure i understand what ure saying

Core i7-3770K support since F6 according to your "cpu support list"

Hehe, both powercables are inserted, would be kind of retarded 2 connect both powercables when trying the other two slots but only use one when trying in the pciex16 slot.

About the bios - only thing i could find was in the "Peripherals" section and "init display first" - used Peg (and auto)

Have contacted GGTS, a few days ago!

Edit:

Tried with my SB 2700K cpu and the GTX680 GC in the pciex16 slot....works...but why? Even the dealer i bought this GB board from has it listed as "third generation Intel® Core cpu compatible". Looking at the mb box, i found this on the back: "Cpu support: 2nd and 3rd generation intel core cpu" and GB has it listed as 3770k compatibel to, in the cpu support lis, as mentioned before.

Will/can this be fixed with a future bios? I dont want a mb that supports IB to 90%

Spasibo, but not 100% sure what it says, google translation isnt the best neither is my russian.

But i realise it would probably work with another brand of motherboard, but now i got this and i want it up and running with the IB cpu and my gtx 680, before D3 is released(2012-05-15), so im hoping for a quick solution...

Well im using the Z77 board now with my SB 2700K and the gtx680 in the x16 slot, the graphic works, but now im getting some random freezes instead, recently been updated to F8a bios(from TT forum) and disabled the c-states in bios, not sure that solved anything.

Checking your link later, tx, need 2 get some sleep (and dream i bought an Asus board instead)

I'm using this board with the i5 IB cpu and it works flawlessly (at least so far).  Running single dgpu, and checked igpu (works).  You may have a bad cpu?  Maybe take cpu to Best Buy and see if they would be willing to test in another z77 board.

I think that it is highly likely that you have a faulty component there as there are many people that are running this setup with no problems.
