I have a GA-x79-ud5 motherboard dual booted with WinXP (32Bit) and Win 7 (64 Bit)

Everything is perfect in Win 7

On XP, all the functions work, no problems in the device manager, but I am getting noise _ distorted audio from the mic input.

I have numerous times removed and re-installed the drivers.  I have even gone to RealTek's site and got their latest drivers, but with the same result.

Thus far Gigablye support, has not come up with any solution.

So, anyone else here having this problem with WinXP (32) drivers?

After contact with support, I was sent a new (thus far unreleased bios).  This solved the problem
