I had a Bios version FVB dated 06/04/2010 by Award Software Inc, as a result of the electrical noises that beset this fine board, this was resolved and the system works fine.
Is it time to update the Bios if so to what version?
As the FVB Bios did cure part of the problem along with the reworked board.

I recently have had two BSOD incidents both reported to be down to the ATI Radeon HD 4350 card. ATI have suggested bring system up to date with everything chipset drivers  windows. So am asking about Bios.

What version retained the fixes in FVB as this version does not appear in list of available Bios's so unsure as to correct upgrade.

Hi Graceman,

I remember the BIOS being released  to counter the electrical noise issue at the time. I would assume that all the BIOSes since that date have this conversion applied. It might be worth checking with GGTS just to confirm though.

After some to & Fro and having to find this Bios version on Tweaktown for them and sent to Gigabyte Support been told that the FVB Bios was a solution to the electrical noises associated with this board.
The outcome was that the fix in this Bios is not Incorporated in the later subsequent versions so we are stuck with it and now face obsolescence or have the issue return

Why do they not know their own Bios and why not incorporate into later Bios surely this is not correct.

Or Do we now have to consider the noisy board issue as only a temporary fix?  and now cannot update.

It seems this board is at the end of its capability
