Hi all,

New to this. So far have the following:
CPU x 44 = 4.4Ghz (Voltage Auto - seems to settle at 1.368v with P95 and 0,98 idle)
All Turbo set to 44 other settings on that page =Auto
Memory Corsair 16G Quad 2133/ 9-10-10-22-1T (1.55v)
Prime 95 2 hours hottest core (o) sometimes gets to 83 degrees and causes frop to 3.2Ghz for a few seconds
Always core 0 -other cores rarely above 75c
Stuck with BCLK @ 100 ATM as any raise seems to severely limit ethernet Bandwidth (Gigabyte investigating)
Phase control set to Extreme
Voltage response to fast
All other voltage stuff (other than ram) set to auto

Current Prim95 and CPUZ under load http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/mikeyjames2/95_dual.JPG
at Idle:

I also have 12 x dark blocks in front of mosfet that read 110c -is this normal or should I aim to cool them better (passive heatsink and antec spotcool or something??)

Is 1.368v ok for 4.4Ghz and just leave at auto and be done with it or could I do better??

This is where I need the help

Beleive me I haven't posted here before extensive searching (which has just confused me more due to differing opinions)

I'd like to start playing with manual voltage and offset (DVID??)

where do people think would be good to start (voltage and offset)?

Some more questions after seeing advice all over rthe place:

Should I change "advaaced voltage settings"?
I've seen suggestions to raise current protection, thermal protection, and all the various switch rates - what do people think?

Also LLC -any suggest "medium" - once again any suhhestions?

As I said I'm very new and would appreciate any help i could get.

BTW - just rembered another setting the fan control - currently set to manual 1.25/0c. Not sure what this does (once again a 100 different opinions via google). Does setting a lower PWM value = lower slope increase?? e.g. for every set temp rise poeer to fan is increasedy .75 somethings :P or do i have this totally wrong?

Please help a newbie learn

Thanks

Mick
