Hi there,

you will need to manually set the speed and timings for your RAM in BIOS under the MIT section. For 1600MHz you will need the multiplier set to X8
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

I tried this, but the motherborad continues to restore to default settings.

Remove 2 sticks of ram and try again.

Did you load optimized defaults, after you set it up ?

hmm i have same problem with g-skill 1866 MHz - 1600 MHz so i put it to E.O.C.P profil 2 and it works  so you must try with all profiles
