GA-MA770T-UD3P rev 1.0 -- Ram voltage
« on: December 11, 2009, 10:15:42 am »
Hello!

I have a brand new GA-MA770T-UD3P rev 1.0 board, with a C3 stepping Phenom II x4 965 processor. I updated BIOS to F4 (and also tested F5 beta). But I can only set ram to 1.6v. My ram G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ is stated to work at 1.5v by the manufacturer. This ram is also in the compatibility list of this board.

1- Is there a way to lower the RAM voltage? If it runs without problem a 1.5v why not doing it?

2- I am thinking about getting another set of this RAM to have 8GB. Would I continue to be able to make it work a 1600 Mhz with this processor? I want to know which is your experience in this :)

3- which is the difference between this MB and rev 1.1? I can not find this information anywhere!

4- what is the meaning of DDR VTT? And EC Firmware... which is the difference between Normal and Hybrid?

Thank you for your information :)
