Hi all,
have a weird sitch' whereby if I install a HDD with any thing other than its birthday clothes it will pause for about 10 sec's on bios screen then further 20 on Win' logo. Only remedy, of sorts, I've found is to format a drive on my machine and then it starts ok again. Obviously I can do this for the virgin drives bought but not previous ones with data on that I simply want to add.
Tried new and older drives (only couple yrs old) of varying makes and all the same result - whether SSD or Sata 3/6 - unless fresh format on this machine it's lengthy startup.
Any help appreciated.
Have latest F15 bios. AHCI enabled. Win7 ultimate. I5 ivy cpu. 8gb corsair 1600.
