H77N-wifi: possible to upgrade Centrino wifi module?
« on: March 18, 2013, 08:52:47 pm »
Hi,

Is there anything preventing a wifi module upgrade for the H77N-wifi motherboard?  I'd like to replace the Centrino Wireless-N 2230 module with a Centrino Advanced-N 6235, mainly to get dual-band/5GHz 11n to work with this board, without adding an external adapter.

Thanks!
ET

It should work by looking at everything and they are both made by the same company.

Plus if you really look at what you have in there only one side is working. The one is 1 main and other is 2 aux.

I tried it and it worked!  Nice and quiet (so far, in my neighbourhood) 5GHz goodness.
