Hi guys, ran across another problem with my computer. My PSU blew... and I RMA'd it and have got a replacement unit. When I took the one that blew out of my computer case, it had bits and pieces of falling out of it... so that leads me to believe that its capacitors exploded. Anyway, I installed the new PSU unit not 5 minutes ago and am unable to start the computer. Perhaps I have incorrectly connected up the cables, but not 100% on that one, I've plugged in the MB, CPU and Video Card into the logical slots and the IDE/SATA periphs into the other slots so all looks right. However when I press the power button on the PSU (MB light comes on) and press the power button for the first time, I hear a click... the fan begins to turn i.e. theres a split second of power applied and it doesn't even spin 1 degree... it just twitches... and the computer does not come on. Subsequent presses of the power button result in no actions from the computer... completely dead... the MB light is on however. After turning off the power button on the PSU and wainting for the MB light to go off and then turning it back on, same thing... first attempt yields the click and the fan twitch but not much else... are these symptoms synonymous with an obvious fault?
