Hello,

Currently, I have the motherboard GA-870A-UD3 rev 3.1, this motherboard is perfect.

I would like to acquire the processor FX-6300 (piledriver).

When does the new version bios is it planned?

First off welcome to the gigabyte forum you came to the right place to get an answer i will answer best as i can, But some questions need a moderator like upcoming bios and i can just go by past experiance.

Cant say for sure if they even will it has been a year since your last bios update and usually they do the more recent chipsets as in 900 series first. You best bet is to email gigabyte support and see if they plan on even releasing one.Or waiting on absic or dark mantis to answer as they have contacts i dont have. And a bit more brains if i had to guess...lol

You are very welcome it has happened to me so many times on different motherboards i expected that answer. Its pretty much the same as dont hold your breath...lol.
