AMD overdrive detects the voltage at 1.325 but the Gigabyte detects it at 1.375v which is a big difference
big difference? 1.375 / 1.325 = 1.04, so it means it's only 4 %. knowing gigabyte (and not only these
) mbs i know that you must be aware of 2 facts:
- giga usually puts some small additional voltage to all components like ram, cpu, etc to have better stability. i had a long conversation with them a few years ago as i was afraid of this. but after checking with amd it appeared giga were using the level within tolerance of the cpu (i was using default settings, not overclocking)
- every measuring device (electronic multimeter, hardware monitoring of mb, etc.) has so-called accuracy which means the value it shows is not the real one but with some % of error
just try to use 1.375 or find out if easytune 6 is capable of setting the desired value
