I have had this motherboard for 32 days, of which, it was only operating for roughly 100 hours. I turned it on today and the onboard LAN was no longer working. I updated the bios and set it to defaults, cleared the cmos, removed the battery, and tried again, but no luck. It will not work in both Windows 7 64 bit or in FreeNAS. During boot up from an off position, the green LED on the ethernet port is solid, then in the middle of the OS load screen (for both w7 and freenas), the green light shuts off, and stays off unless I do a complete cold boot. The yellow LED only flashes once every 10 seconds or so, but at inconsistent intervals. Regardless of the green LED being on or not, pressing F9 in the bios reveals that I do have a valid MAC address.
I switched the RAM, CPU, removed USB devices, unplugged and replugged in the connections, but nothing worked. I did a google search and found that many gigabit mb's had issues with onboard lan failing, but nothing was consistent with my particular situation. Any ideas? Or is getting an RMA my best bet? Below are my system specs. Also, for the previous 100 hours, my system was working flawlessly as a NAS, but died out today for reasons unknown.
