PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
(All PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
So you can run any series ati card or nvidia card that is pci express even if it is pci-e 3.0 it is backward compatiable with pci-e 2.0 and 1.0.
So it mainly depends on what you plan on using it for and if your PSU can handle it the higher end cards use pci-e connectors from the psu and if you dont have the connectors you will have to go with a lower end card that doesnt require them.
