GA-X79-UD3 and Corsair Vengeance RAM issue

Hi,

I've built a new system, the specs are as written below.  As soon as I started the system up, I started to get problems - the windows installation would halt part way through.  I ran memtest from memtest.org, which showed errors on 3 of the 4 sticks of RAM.  I RMA'd the RAM with corsair, and ran the system on a loaned 4GB stick of DDR3 @ 1333Mhz for a week, with no problems, but I didn't really push the system at all.  When I received the replacement RAM, I still get errors on the RAM, mostly across 3 of the 4 dimms, all tested sequentially in the first slot on the board.  Corsair suggested it might be some issue with the motherboard, and I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help?

I've tried a lot of different timings, the last of which was to set Optimised Defaults and use XMP Profile 1.  I chose this memory as both Corsair and Gigabyte show the memory as supported in this board, so I'm hoping I've missed something simple!

Here's my setup:

CPU: i7 3930k
Mobo: GA-X79-UD3 BIOS rev F12p
Memory: 4x8GB Corsair 1866 DDR3, P/N CMZ32GX3M4X1866C10R
GPU: 2x Gigabyte Windforce 670 2GB
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro 800W
HDD: Intel 520 240GB SSD + 3TB WD Caviar Green
