Dear All,
I am currently looking for a new pc configuration and I am surprised to discover that I won't be able to reuse my good Adaptec 2405 raid card. I checked adaptec website and it is written that UEFI / EFI is not supported. The only solution is to find a motherboard able to boot EFI and bios.
After googling around, I've found that gigabyte propose a feature so called "hybrid?" EFI. Does it have a bad impact on system performance (I do not care about boot time, my raid card alone take a couple of minute to initialize itself) ?
Is this feature still available on the latest gigabyte motherboards or is it already outdated ?
