So for the past few month my card has been randomly (at complete random) making an odd "gggrrrrhhhhdddehd" noise from the speaker or headphone which ever I am using and my monitor goes black and says it is entering "power save mode" (what happens when my monitor goes into standby).
This seems to only happen when I'm playing black ops 2 or battlefield 3 or AC3 (maxed) and it makes them stop responding and I have to crtl alt delete, I can play guild wars 2 perfectly fine
~Its kind of a pain when I don't even know when its going to happen and then all the sudden BAM...
I have tried to switch up the cooling to see if temps were the problem, but nope
I previously had an AMD Card and made sure all of the drivers and registries were deleted
I under clocked, stock speeds, and oc'd lightly
I limited fps on games and lowered settings
I have tried older newer beta drivers
Disabled on-board gfx in BIOS
Contacted gigabyte to see if the problem could be narrowed down, nope
Wiping computer is my last resort...
Does ANYONE know if its my card or games or anything please help D:~~~~~~
