I've been running my setup smoothly for about 6 months now and I went to swap out the SSD (Vertex 4) and card (Sapphire 6950 2GB) after doing so it seems like my SSD is being throttled. I am not getting any of the speeds I should/was getting, moreover when I swap my old components back in I am still have the slow SSD issue.
I think its something in the bios but I am at a loss, I tried disabling the S3/S6 item as noted in the board FAQs but still no dice. Anyone experience this issue before? The computer runs fine but stutters due to what looks like low power to the SSD If I pull the video card the computer runs like a champ but if I add it back it slows down again, no it doesn't matter which one I add back its the same issue (the crystal mark disk scores are like night and day with the cards pulled, so I think its something on the motherboard). I even swapped in a 1000W and 950W PSU just in case I had a bad PSU but they all had the same issue.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
