GA-890GPA-UD3H (Ver 2.1) - BOUGHT 2 TYPES OF RAM PLEASE ADVISE EXPERTS!

I recently bought 2x 2gb BALLISTIX TACTICAL 1600mhz CL8 1.5v the 1st lot i ever bought was made in USA - PART NO. BLT2G3D1608DT1TXO.8FM this has worked perfect for a while now running it at 1333mhz CL7, it says the TRFC for Dimm is 160ns and run perfect in all slots?

I just got delivered today 2x 2gb of the same modules made in CHINA - PART NO. BLT2G3D1608DT1TX0.CEU but on my bios setup i looked and they say TRFC for Dimm is 110ns, however when i set them manually they seem to run fine in the 1st and 3rd slot at 160ns but not in the 2nd and 4th?

Can you advise me please?

If you are planning on using all four sticks run them at 160 and unganged. Keep the timings at the lowest rated set for stability. It wouldnt be a problem with motherboard anyway it is usually the amd controller that causes different ram problems in different slots.

For maximum stability they should of been bought as a kit of 4 sticks of 2 gigs each. That is what amd and gigabyte recommend.

Don t mix RAM with such different specs. The tRFC is an important timing ,you may notice random slow downs during usage with such combination.
