GA-Z68AP-D3 Updating Bios to UEFI BIOS

Hello all, I noticed there is an update to my motherboard bios to change it to UEFI.
Now my question is, I have basically installed a i5 2500 processor so is it still possible to update to UEFI ??

Yes, shouldn't be a problem but from personal experience I wouldn't bother switching to the UEFI BIOS unless you are planning to swap CPU's for an Ivybridge processor.

My train of thought was that it would be  far easier to overclock using the UEFI.

It might be better with the Ivybridge CPU's but with Sandybridge I would stick with the Award BIOS.

 I got much better results on the GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 and my 2500k processor with the Award BIOS than I did with the UEFI and in fact, I switched back to the Award BIOS as I found it more stable and reliable.

It is a much slicker interface but it seems that the load line calibration is no longer available when flashing to these early (or are they latest?)
UEFI bios revisions for the GA-Z68-AP-D3 -if you want to overclock dont update........
I tried out the UEFI for my rev1.0 board but quickly flashed back when I could no longer clock my CPU.
