H77M-D3H memory voltage
« on: December 30, 2012, 12:03:12 pm »
I am about to order a H77M-D3H and would like to pair it with Kingston DDR3-1600 CL9 Low Voltage (KHX1600C9D3LK2/8GX), which has the following XMP profiles:

XMP Profile #1: D3-1600 CL9-9-9 @1.35V
XMP Profile #2: D3-1333 CL9-9-9 @1.25V

My question is: how low does the H77M-D3H allow you to set memory voltage below the standard 1.50 V?

I've looked up the board's manual and it says that you can change memory voltage, but doesn't specify within which range...

Could anyone from Gigabyte help, please?

I've already filed a ticket with GGTS, but two replies later they still seem to not have understood my question: they don't read what I write and keep answering questions I didn't ask...

I already know these modules will run on the H77M-D3H, at least at 1.50 V, what I'd like to know is if this board allows setting lower memory voltages such as 1.35 V and 1.25 V, as specified by the modules' manufacturer. I'd rather not run for the long term at 1.50 V a module that is specified at 1.25 V or even 1.35 V.

I finally got GGTS to answer my question and the answer is yes, the H77M-D3H does support low voltage memory modules, both DDR3L (1.35 V) and DDR3U (1.25 V).
