SLI 2x GTX 660 TI OC (GV-N66TOC-2GD ) CRASHING

hi there,

my config is the following :

- Intel DX58OG board (latest BIOS available from Website)
- Intel i7-940 quadcore CPU (stock clocks)
- 2x Gigabyte GTX 660 TI OC in SLI (GV-N66TOC-2GD stock clocks, F3 bios on both)
- Nvidia latest driver (306.23)
- 1000W PSU

i'm playing in 3D vision @ 1024x768 on a VGA display through regular DVI adapter.

I was having constant crashing while playing several game (Just Cause 2, Dirt 3,...) after only few seconds. I tried several things and ended up boosting the voltage thinking 3D Vision + SLI may put the card under severe pressure so that default voltage may not be enough even if i stick to GPU stock clocks (1032Mhz base/1111Mhz core which are still higher than NVIDIA defaults). So i fired up OC GURU II and changed the min voltage to max value 1.175V and no more CRASHING!!! I hope they publish a new BIOS with higher min voltage by default but in the meantime i'm still having issues because if the min voltage is steady @ 1.175V on my primary card (the one connected to display), it is not on my secondary one where it keeps switching between 1.175V and 0.9875V (based on GPU-z monitoring) and it translates into some bad stuttering (like fine for 3s and stuttering for 1s). so it seems that OC GURU II does not apply changes to the second card..i checked some other vendors OC tools (MSI Afterburner,...) but they do not allow for voltage tweaks on my cards...does anybody think of anything else i may try ? thanks in advance!!

Hey, it's possible to use afterburner, you only have to authorize it to change minimum voltage levels in settings.

You can also try Asus GPU Tweak
