GA-F2A85XM-D3H undervolting?
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:09:21 pm »
Hi,

I don't see any way in the BIOS to undervolt my processor (A10-5700)
There is only voltage increase.
I tried both AMD overdrive and PSCheck, without success.
Gigabyte hotline tell me one month ago that the new bios will offer such features, but no, F2 bios don't change anything!

Does anybody manager to undervlot the CPU? (for all pstate, especially idle)
Thanks

It doesn t have it ,some other user reported as well the lack of undervolting .
When it goes to idle the voltage drops on the APU automatically.
I wouldn t worry about  the heat or power consumption with that APU ,it s a cool one.
Over & Out !

AMD FX (APU-s included) users should install - KB2645594 & KB2646060 under Windows 7

1.ASUS Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 + FX 6300 + H60
2.MSI A88X-G41 PC Mate + A8 5600K + Hyper TX 2
3.Gigabyte F2A75-D3H + A4 5300
4.ASUS AM1M-A + Athlon 5150

thanks for your answer, but I am quite worried about heat, idle or not!
My case can't support a10-5700 full load if it's not undervolted!
I need to fnd a solution, otherwize i'll have to sold my gigabyte motherboard.
(a75N-usb3-itx was quite a really good board... unlike the a85xm)

Even if you undervolt it you won t cut to much of the heat.
If the case is small use a different APU like A4 5300.If it s for a HTPC it will be enough power wise,
It s a cold one.

Otherwise try different coolers or a different case..
