ga-z68xp-d3: onboard lan disappeared

Hi,

I have just swap my gigabyte ATI 5870 for a gigabyte Nvidia 660ti.

Since I swapped the new video card, the onboard lan disappears in device manager, when I check in bios, shows as enabled ok.I changed cable in case it was a cable detection issue, but no change.

I have updated the bios to v9 but issue still occurs. If i remove nvidia and put my old video card in onboard lan works fine again, so I'm assuming it has something do to with the new card causing a conflict.

Any ideas?

The thing is that the board doesn't support that card. The 660ti is a 3.0 card and the board is a 2.0.

I don't know if that would cause that problem. I have seen funny things happen.
