H97 Gaming 3 - shutdown and won't boot
« on: November 02, 2014, 11:30:43 am »
I recently bought new psu, mobo, cpu and ram trying to fixed my prev pc issue
pc shutdown/reboot, and many times can't boot up
new stuffs:
1) Seasonic 650W 80 Gold S-Series PSU
2) Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3
3) Intel Core i5 4460
4) Kingston Fury 4GB 1600 x 2

I have install new win7 os, then this problem starting again

I'm using onboard GC, so my discrete GC shouldn't been the cause

what I been reusing are:
- casing - cooler master silencio 550
http://apac.coolermaster.com/en/product/Detail/case/mid-tower-silent-series/silencio-550.html
- monitor - samsung lcd
- usb keyboard, usb mouse, both logitech
- 2 ssd 2 hhd - latest testing setup is 2 ssd (both Intel) 1 hhd (1 Tera WD)
- dvd combo (samsung)

Win7 Home Premium 64 bits, updated to latest from m$
haven't fully install all software, but basically all chipset hardware drivers are installed

BIOS F3
try the latest F5?

but now i can't bootup.
probably can bootup after let it rest abit. not sure is it temperature issue

after patched the BIOS F5
it working fine so far

i noticed the difference compare to F3, the share mem for gc is limited at half G, while F3 allow up to 1G

gonna try test againt my discrete gc later
