Hi all
My first post here so hope you can assist. I have just bought the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650 Ti off Amazon (arrived yesterday!) and after installing fairly seamlessly I noticed that my CPU fan stopped working - it just clicks round a few degrees every 10 secs. My previous GPU is the onboard Intel HD 4000 which I assume auto recognises when another GPU is inserted.
I tried a game briefly with the new card (before noticing the CPU fan) which works really well but then starts to slow up and have problems so quickly stopped that and shut down.
I removed the card, reconnected my monitor to the mobo onboard GPU and everything works fine again.
The card is seated correctly in the PCIx16 slot and has its own PCIe power supply (only one PSU socket on this card). My PSU is a CoreXstream 500W PSU so should be okay I would have thought.
Other bits not sure if relevant -
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel i7 3770 CPU
8BG RAM
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V
Graphics Card GV-N65TOC-2GI Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB
Any ideas would really be appreciated.
