GA-EP43T-UD3L 1600mhz memory

Hello...I have just purchased this motherboard and i'm currently running 2x1gb of corsair ddr3 1066 with no problems... I'm hoping to get  two 2gb corsair ddr3 1600 ddr3 memory soon,and was just wondering if i will run into problems using this memory or if i will have to alter anything in the bios to get it to run stable??

I would also like to know what other memory members are running on their  GA-EP43T-UD3L with no problems.

If you were going to only use the 2x 2gb sticks then there shouldnt be any problems. You may possibly have to manually alter voltages. Would not reccomend using your 2x 1gb and 2x 2gb, as they are different sizes + speeds. This can lead to problems.

Yeah..I'm not going to mix...Just going to run these 2x2gb ddr3 1600s together.. I have them in now and everything is running well...but they are only running at 1333mhz...I have never messed with timings and voltages before in the bios..My current dram voltage is 1.50v and i know this ram can take 1.65v i think. Can anybody send me a link to tutorials for tweaking the bios... ie overclocking,speeding up boot times,optimizing settings etc?

Any information would be helpful really thanks..

If its rated 1600mhz @ 1.65v then set the memory to 1.65v. You will then have to change the ram timings (9-9-9-12 for example) this is also done under the RAM section of the MIT. Then change the system memory multiplier so ram runs at required speed
