EP45-UD3P S3 sleep issue

EP45-UD3P S3 sleep issue
« on: January 22, 2010, 06:34:23 pm »
Any time I set the FSB to 400MHz i cannot wake up from S3 sleep. When it does try to wake up it goes in to the infinate reboot loop. I was wondering if anyone has any fixes or ideas for this issue? Before anyone says anything i tried the latest bios and it didnt fix it and caused issues with one of the OSs on my system so i went back to previous version. Also my windows drivers are all up to date.

I tried the suggestions in that thread, i laxed out every timing i know and took everything i know to take out of the equation of whats causing it

EP45-UD3P V 1.6
Xeon X3220 2.4 GHz @ anywhere from 2.8 (testing 400 FSB with S3), 3.0 (fastest normal fsb i can do with S3 333x9), 3.6 (if i can ever get the S3 worked out i have had this chip stable here)
3GB of Patriot PC-800 (took it down to 1 stick when testing)
9600GT video card

i think my S3 stops working around 357 FSB if that is any help
