Hi,

I've just received my new GA-X79S-UP5-WIFI and started installation
I have 2 SSD Crucial RealSSD C300 connected to the Marvell controller.
The Marvell is configured in RAID mode in the Bios
During boot , after POST I keep typing Control + M but I cannot access to the Marvell Raid Utility to configure my disk in Raid 0.
If I connect my SSD to the Intel C606 controller, I can configure them in Raid and access the raid utility with Control + I.
I am really frustrated because I really wanted to use the Marvell 6GBs Raid 0 capability.

I there anything I missed to do ?

The picture of the POST can be seen at :

Thanks for your help

I'm just asking if you have them on the same controller. There are three controllers in the Marvell Gsata controller.

They should be on the first controller  Gsata 0 & 1. The other thing is do you really want to use Marvell controller vs Intel.

I read pro's & con's this matter. But I just read that Marvell had just updated their driver and it makes it a little faster than Intel.

I have mine set up on the Intel controller. I could try them on mine Marvell controller to see if they show up.

Having used both the marvell and intel raid 0  configurations the marvell on my motherboard is approx 300mb/sec slower than the intel. Given the marvell chips on the x79-up5 are the same as mine your result would be similar.
