I've tested it with multiple microphones. I've had issues with the freakin sound on this board for a while but wasn't smart enough to get an RMA or anything. Well, now my Mic won't give any sound that isn't totally distorted. When sound goes in, it's just a bunch of garbled clicks and static. Actually, right now it's not putting any sound through at all, even through the front port on my case, so I can't attach an example of the distortion.
I'm a little fed up with the performance of mics in general on this mobo. They are overly quiet and that makes em a pain in the ass to use. Even at max volume, max boost it's still quiet as all hell. I suspect this is some forced noise cancelling or something.
Is there any way I can fix this? I use my mic a lot and I'd like to get it working again.
Running Windows 8 64 Bit.
