I've got the same problem with my z87-d3hp and a Sapphire HD5850 Xtreme.
Updating the bios to the latest version (F5c) and re-flashing my video card's BIOS didn't help at all.
Also, full HD is working perfectly with the integrated graphics of the 4770k (same DVI cable, same monitor)

Can we please get a BIOS upgrade to resolve this issue?

I have the same issue ... will not work... z87x UD5h (F7 Bios) , video card is GTX560 ASUS
Its really upsetting cause i cant take full advantage of the bios... low res mode is bad... tons of text overlapping ...
So.. do we have a solution yet to this issue ?

Seems they still haven't done anything to fix full hd in bios.

No new beta bios avaliable for ud3h yet. Hope they fix the resolution toggle soon. I do run my screen in 1920x1200 and DVI with my Gigabyte HD6850 so it should work.

Just wondering if you got that issue sorted out. I upgraded my system (full specs in my sig) and got the same message setting up UEFI ...

Yes by downloading the latest beta bios from this site

http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-beta-bios.html

It has worked for long time now. It's just that Gigabyte still haven't updated the bios on their product page which is weird.

Having the same issue with my z87x-d3h board. Bios is the newest(F8) and gfx card is asus r9 290 refecence model and 14.1 catalyst.

Then only way I get the full resolution is to plug my video projector to the hdmi connector of my 290 so I can get both, my monitor and video projector the same picture. Only then the bios gives me the fullhd resolution. For some reason, using only the dvi is not good enough for the gigabyte board.
