YES. Make your build when you turn it on first time pick the usb as boot drive and updates bios clear DMS and restart when done. I have done that and have had it work great. Works best if you only flash it to about a 3rd version but will still work if you have to jump 5 versions.
Just remember have the usb drive properly formatted and pick it as boot drive the very first time you start. If not i have had it mess a board up because i started it and let it try to post and run. I had to use the back up bios and it took forever it seems like.
