GTX 770 4gb OC Games Crashing
« on: July 19, 2013, 09:32:28 am »
Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my new gtx 770 4gb oc edition. Games usually crashing after 10 - 15 minutes.
I have the latest WHQL drivers from Nvidia installed but keep crashing.

I've noticed that the core clocks when gaming automatically boost to 1254 mhz. That's something really strange because this card is suppossed to be factory overclock with the settings 1137 base / 1189 boost.

Why is pushing the core clock to 1254mhz???. How can I solve this problem???

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm not sure why you're crashing, but as far as the boost clocks go, mine also boosts to that same exact number.  No crashing issues here.  I suspect your problem lies elsewhere.

It's strange because I've tested the card for a long time and I think it must be something related to the driver... I've played a few titles and with Metro Last Light seems to crash more often. It exits to the Desktop sometimes.

And I also noticed in my Desktop when not gaming (idle) that sometimes appears a message like "driver has stopped responding and has recovered issue". Nvlddmkm failed to respond...

I've tried 320.49 WHQL and 326.19.....

¿Is anyone else having this problems?
