Sniper M5 rev. 1001 - Unidentified Network

Owning the Sniper M5 and wondering if it's normal getting ''Unidentified network, Limited'' after installing the killer e2200 driver ( downloaded latest from qualcomm.com, 1.1.38.1281 x 64 on my Win 8.1 Pro ).

Anyone experiencing the same problems with the Sniper M5 board?

How do you have it connected the network? Through a wireless router or DLS router.

Try and reset them to see if it will fix the problem. Or try and reset the router to default settings.

You are connected but for some reason the router isn't letting connect to the internet.

After installing the latest Windows 8.1 updates ( May important updates ), shutting down and powering the PC on, the unidentified network is now named ''network'', but still shows limited, anyway was asked if to connect devices printers etc on this networks so at least it s recognized by Windows..

Net works fine but under the network there still shows ''limited'', connected trough broadband, no router in my flat, there should be some similar device on the stairs of my building, it is labeled ''100 Mbps'' and has a small padlock on the door, I have no idea how to mess with that, I'll probably have to call my ISP to be sure, but I still suspect Win 8.1 for the ''limited'' error, I see it all over google when looking it up.

You will get that on all OS if the network you are on isn't working right. It has nothing to do with the computer and the network card you are using.

Your card is connected to that device but the device isn't letting incoming come to your computer. That is why it has limited on it.

If there was some thing wrong with the card you wouldn't be connected. I have got that same thing on windows 7 when something on the network isn't working right.
