Hello,
I am brand new to these forums as I have never owned a Gigabyte product before. Yesterday I assembled a system with these components:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0Ghz x8
MB: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
BIOS VERSION: FB
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB 1866Mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX470
PSU: ENERMAX NAXN 650W
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Today I am trying to tinker with it, but am having some problems. BIOS will not let me change any settings. Everything just says "Auto." I turned off the CPB feature and set core unlocking to Enabled, but I still can't do anything. My memory is only showing a speed of 1333, which I'd like to push to full 1866. I'd also like to up my clock on the CPU, and experiment a bit. What do I need to do to be able to set the values manually?
I do not know what "rev" I have. I downloaded the latest BIOS from the site and I believe I downloaded the 3.0.
Thanks!
