Hi all. I'm a longtime Asus user and I've never used Gigabyte products. However, Asus seems to have botched something with their Z87 boards, and I'm getting tired of waiting for them to fix it. Many people have been RMAing their Maximus VI series boards, only to discover that they're no longer in stock and aren't getting new boards back (particularly the Gene). There's speculation over on the ROG forums that they're fixing some problems and will ship updated boards to vendors soonish, but I'm getting tired of waiting for that to happen...it's been over 2 weeks since I've had a working desktop. I'm considering switching to an M5. Anything I should be aware of when switching? How do people like their boards? Any trend problems with them? How is Gigabyte's customer service, as far as timeliness to email responses, RMAs, etc?
Thanks!
