Z87X-UD3H PCI slot problem
« on: August 07, 2013, 09:08:22 pm »
Okay this is the s***iest board I ever had. >:(
I got a new one because the previous one always stucked on 15 error code at boot with two ram.
But this one problem if I connect my tv tuner to the PCI slot it isnt work, the OS dont recognize it.But it worked in the previus board well!!!
I triple checked the connection, I update the bios to the latest F7, I flewed it with compressed air, but nothing.
Maybe another solution? or I need to RMA it again?

I hate this board!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though I'm happy with my new motherboard, I've got the exact same problem with the GA-Z87X-D3H board. I know PCI isn't legacy-supported anymore by the Z87 chipset, but there must be a way to still use PCI-cards, right? It's got a PCI-slot anyway...

My PCI slot works fine with creative sound card. Have you got any other pci cards to test it with? Theres also possibility that slot has been disabled from bios, but since its enabled as base I don't get how it turns itself off.

I don't have any other PCI card to test it with, unfortunately. Do you (or someone else) happen to know what setting in the BIOS could fix this?

there may be some compatibility with certain PCI card.
you may write emial to GGTS for technical support. (detailed pci card info should be provided)

There is no option in bios to dissable pci slot.
I changed my board and with the new one the pci slot is working fine.
