C2 Stepping for Z87 motherboards

Hello,

I am planning to purchase a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H with the C2 stepping revision.  Does anyone know if there's anyway to find out what the stepping revision is before purchasing?  I remember for the Intel 67 chipset series Gigabyte clearly labelled on the box it was the B2 stepping revision.  I wonder if that's the case for the Z87 motherboards or if it's labelled elsewhere?

I think it could only been seen in the batch number on the Box.

There are no reports of special namings.
