how can i use corsiar valueselect DDR 3 ram (model CMV4GX3M1A1333C9 ) with
gigabyte G41m combo motherboard ?

http://www.corsair.com/cmv4gx3m1a1333c9.htmli removed my ddr2 ram 2x2 4gb ram and tried to use corsair drr3 ram 2x4 8gb in both slots for ddr3 . i also removed the motherboard battery to reset CMOS . but nothing happens it just restarts not even boots . i bought this motherboard this year in march, my processor is intel core 2 duo E8400 . or i have to overclock my motherboard so i can use this ram or i have to update bios ??
