PC sometimes fails after some time (minutes), getting a black screen (no video) and no sound. Power led keeps on, fans keeps running. System can still be switched off by pressing the power button.
Log shows nothing strange, only 6008, Kernel power event ID41 due to reboot without clean shutdown.
After opening the PC case and reconnecting the power connectors and RAM the problem disappear for 3 weeks. Now it is back again.
Immediate restart the PC, no post, no beep, no video. Powerled + hdd led on. Hdd led goes off after a few seconds, power led stays on. Swiched off the mains for 30 minutes: PC restarted normally.
Opened the PC case again: Checked supply voltages: normal. Tried searching for bad connections with freeze-spray and heating: nothing found.
MOBO is appr. 1 year old. After I bought it it had a boot / power-cycle issue. MOBO went back to Gigabyte and they repaired it.
