G1.Sniper M3 won't power off

I have just installed a new G1.Sniper M3 in a new rig and it posts and boots up fine.

The problem is on shutdown. Windows 7 shuts down properly, the hard drive spins down and the screen goes black and switches off but the PSU keeps running and the fans and power LEDs also keep running. Holding down the power button at this stage works and the machine powers off.

I tried swapping the RAM into alternate slots. I know all the other parts are operational because I was using them in another test bench. The RAM is corsair vengeance low profile 2x4GB sticks. I'm not running a discrete GPU in the rig at this stage. Cooling is with a review sample of a Noctua NH-U14S running off the CPU PWM header. Power supply is a Corsair CX-600M.

BIOS is F9 and I've tried the clear CMOS just in case it was funky out of the box.

Anyone seen this before?

Must have been a driver issue or something within windows 7. I did a fresh install again and it's working perfectly.
