Z77X-D3H UEFI problem
« on: September 27, 2013, 08:27:55 pm »
For some unknown reason I can't install windows 7 x64 with UEFI.  I have 4 TB seagate disk and I have activated UEFI boot everywhere I saw it (UEFI only, UEFI First). I have created USB boot key using RUFUS tool (http://rufus.akeo.ie/). This tools is specialy designed for creation GPT UEFI boot USB - efi\boot folder contains bootx64.efi so it should be allright.

I have dropped all partitions , I have tried to use DISKPART and clean disk partitions there also, converting to GPT manually, but still Im receiving warning that "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

It seems like BIOS can't see disk UEFI partitions and are not visible in boot manager. I have latest 18g bios, and I have used to downgrade bios back, but no way.

Help ! How to install windows with UEFI ?

PS :  strange is that I used UEFI in the past without problems on same hardware ?!! Z77X-D3H is really strange motherboard
