New install GA-Z87X-UD4H - LED debug code 51 on powerup

My first post on this forum!

I am building a new pc (for my brother) and on powerup not much happens apart from the LED debug showing the number "51" (Memory initialization error occurs.) The cpu-fan will go for a few seconds, than go off. After a couple of seconds with no activity the cpu fan will start again, and stop again. No other fans (2 other fans besides cpu/psu) will go.

No peripherals (including graphics card) are connected to the mb.

The other hardware:

Intel Core i7-4770K
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB
Samsung SSD 540 Evo 120GB
Corsair CX 750 W Modular

Any clues of what is going on? Suggestion of what to do from here?

I would try some other brand of memory and make sure you have the CPU fan plug into the connector.

I will check every connection, but as mentioned, the cpu fan does turn, then stop, then turn...

The hardware (mb, ram, cpu) was sold as a package by the store (recommended and selected ram).

Look at the CPU socket to make sure you don't have a bent pin. Have you tried it outside the case. If it still doesn't boot than I would be talking to the people you got from.

The system is working properly now! Am not sure hat was the culprit. Went over the connections, and one of them might have been loose. Anyway, the pc is up and running!
