Easytune and Windows 8.1

Easytune and Windows 8.1
« on: November 02, 2013, 01:32:08 pm »
I have a Sniper M5 board and am running Windows 8.1 from a clean Windows 8.1 install. When I put in the App Center and install Easytune everything seems fine until I go to run Easytune. I get a small black bock with green text and a spinning circle that says Loading, please wait and nothing else. This will not go away until I go into task manager and end it. I have left it running up to an hour.

Is there an issue with Easytune and Windows 8.1 that is not documented?

I never use the on disk drivers or utilities, always download the newest ones from the web site.

I have put on the newest BIOS, did base install with latest Chipset and NIC drivers and then installed the latest sound drivers from the site directly. Next I did a download and install of the AppCenter from the site and had it do the download of the utilities I was looking to use. When that fialed I uninstalled the apps and the app center and did the installs individually.

Same happens with me. Running Windows 8.1. Task manager kills it before it finishes loading.
