HD7950 doesn't work on Z77X-UD3H
« on: December 14, 2012, 06:37:34 pm »
Hey,

I got some problems with my new pc.
My mainboard Z77X-UD3H doesn't want to work with my graphic card GV-R795WF3-3GD (Radeon HD 7950).
Also the beepcode of the speaker says that there's a problem with the graphic card.
I installed the newest driver, disabled the onboard graphic and checked the power supply. Nothing helped.

I hope you can help me and sorry for my bad english.

yes, i tested the card in antoher motherboard and it worked... i plugged in the 12v cables (two 6 pins)
my power supply is the "be quiet! Pure Power L7 530W".
maybe it's good to mention that the card is running when i start the computer.
also the mainboard works with a different card (GTX9800+)

its very strange, put sata energy cable (up the sata connectors) this may help system stabilyty(i think is only for croosfire or sli) but try, put in bios display first PEG, the motherboard beep too?
