Slightly random question but does anyone know if the 3Ware 9650SE RAID controller works in the GA-P55-UD5 motherboard? I've just had an email from 3Ware stating that the card does not (officially) support 'desktop or gaming' motherboards, only server or workstation class mobos...
I'm kinda hoping that the UD5 is high enough quality for the 3Ware card to work ok. On their compatability list 3Ware say they've tested it with the GA-X38-DQ6 mobo and it's worked ok.
Any thoughts...?
