GA-Z77X-D3H Dead
« on: December 21, 2013, 10:29:25 pm »
I just put together a new system (specs to follow) but upon powering up I get nothing. No post, no beeps, fans no anything. I checked the power supply and it was missing the -5v, so I switched to a known good power supply. Now the processor fan spins but still no post, no beeps or anything. I've tried moving memory around and using just a single stick. No change. Checked all cables. Even removed the MB from the case to make sure it wasn't grounding out. In reading the forums I read something about maybe the bios needs to be updated to use this processor but since I can't boot or even post I can't do that. Ideas anyone? Thanks!!

If you can find a two wire speaker for the front bottom left header on the board you should
get bios beep codes to help work out the problem
