Z87 D3HP - no USB charge in standby ?

Hi Guys, I do not seem to get any charge on the USB sockets in standby, (rear or front panels), but working fine with PC on.
I installed the GB App and on/off charge software, and all it tles me when I start up the charge utility is the USB drivers are not ready .... as it charges when its on, I presume that's a red herring.

Running win 8.1 64 bit.

Does anyone have a clue as to what I am missing/not done ?

you need to charge it before go to sleep mode.
that means when the computer aleady in sleep mode, you plug your mobile and it will not charge.
when computer is on, your mobile will be charged and then go to sleep mode, it's still charging.

Hi ysw, I have tried that, it does not charge when in sleep, even if plugged in before.
BTW its an MP3 player I am trying to charge
