Upgrading from P67 board to GA-Z87X-OC Force
« on: February 06, 2014, 02:54:13 pm »
I just installed my new board upgrading from a EVGA P67 FTW.  I am running Intel 4770K with Gskill 1600 DDR 3 memory (4x4 meg).  I have 3 Galaxy GTX 770s in tri sli in the lowest 3 orange slots and the blue tooth/ wireless card in Orange PCI 1.  I am running the F8 bios and everything at stock clock and I keep getting BSOD random reboots while surfing the web and do very little.

I did not reinstall windows when changing boards. COuld this be my issue?  Do I need to reinstall windows when upgrading from P67 to Z87?  Here are the rest of my system specs:

Corsair AX 1200 power supply
Samsung 830 240 Gig SSD
2 X Western Digital Black Sata 6 1 Terrabyte drives

To your answer is YES to windows. Some times it will work and some times it will not.

If it was the same motherboard maker it would have maybe work. That would be where I would start.
