Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77X-UD3H Motherboard revision
« on: February 09, 2014, 08:22:29 am »
Hi I have just received a brand new Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77X-UD3H Motherboard form Amazon and was wondering why they have sent me revision 1.1 instead of revision 1.2 and what the difference is. I've looked on the gigabyte site and can't spot what changes have been made. I had to wait a week until Amazon got the board in stock therefore assumed it must be the latest revision rather than old stock. I'm not sure it matters but was wondering and didn't want to use it until I managed to clarify it. Thanks Stavros

Hi thanks for your effort I read this initially and there isn't a single difference between the original board and the two revisions nor is there any clue on the internet. Either way it's probably not even an issue. I've installed the board and have the system up and running. In most respects I like the board it's obviously good quality and the dual bios is a bonus as is the digital power management the only thing I'm not sure is the software and bios interface it's not bad just not as good as the asus board software it's replaced., which was very easy to use but comprehensive. Still it's like all things you get used to it. Still can't get the I5 HD 400 graphics to display but will have a look at settings to see if I have forgotten to do something obvious.

It just older stock.  Whenever you by through the mail, you don't get to choose what rev. you might get.  I've started buying retail (some components)  for this reason.
