hi ive got a gigabyte h61m-d2h-usb3 board and just wonding can i put 12gb or ram in at the mins ive got 8gb but when i put a extra 4gb in the pc does not boot up can any one tell me if thats rite or have i done some think worrg thanks

Can you tell us what type or brand you have in there now? Plus what type or brand you are adding.

If you are trying to put in anything over 1333 it might not work. It only Support DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules
